After hosting events on sexuality since 2017 through HOTTAKES, I decided to formally study sexuality education to have a stronger practical and theoretical foundation for our programs. In 2023 I became a Certified Holistic Sexuality Educator through the Institute for Sexuality Education and Enlightenment. This training approaches sexual pleasure and solving sexual dysfunction from a holistic perspective, integrating biological and anatomical knowledge with the psychological, social and cultural perspectives that shape our experiences with sexuality. It is an intersectional and relational approach that looks at many factors, recognizing that sexuality is inextricably linked to every area of our lives. While I am interested in many facets of sexuality, I have a special focus on the world of kink and BDSM, and the liberatory healing potential within exploring, accepting and expressing our deepest desires.
